Colt has been present in Australia for more than 50 years, operating primarily via distributors and manufacturing licensees. In 2007 Colt invested directly in Australia by entering into a joint venture with a well-established local company to form Colt Tollfab Pty Limited. Since July 2009, Colt in Australia has been a fully owned subsidiary of the Colt Group and is committed to continue to grow its presence within the Australian market.
