St Kevin's College, Victoria

St Kevin's College, founded 1918, is a very prestigious private, primary and secondary school located in Toorak, Victoria running alongside the Yarra river.  A major feature of the four-level building, which is linked to the historic 1960s J A Kearney Building, is the Colt perforated panelling system. Colt provided a number of solutions to this building including solar shading protection using Colt Ellisse Shadometal fins mounted in front of the large glass entrance facade , perforated panels with unique folded ‘eye brow’ lips to all four facades and mechanical plant screening louvre high up on the roof.

Once Colt had installed all the supporting steelwork for the perforated panels, a considerable amount of engineering and detailed CAD was required to correctly coordinate with the installation.

Colt was able to offer the complete package from initial design through to installation.
